Rio Grande Valley Bird, Butterfly, Dragonfly, and Nature Festivals:

The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 requires that by January
1, 2008, travelers to and from Mexico have a passport to enter or re-enter the United States. As of December 31,
2006, this requirement will apply to all air and sea travel to or from Mexico.
One of the most fun things you can do is to attend one of the many nature-oriented festivals in South
Texas' Lower Rio Grande Valley. No matter how the festival is titled, each will have all forms of wildlife watching,
diverse seminars, great nature oriented trade shows, and activities for folks of all ages.
Also, listed are some of the Mexico nature festivals. Usually they are connected to a Valley
area chamber of commerce and often accompany one of the LRGV's nature festivals.
We can promise you that no matter which fiesta de fauna you attend, you will learn a lot, meet
some really neat folks, and have lots of fun doing it in the Rio Grande Valley.
